I recently traveled to China. On my trip I saw everything from the Great Wall in Beijing to the Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian to Shanghai, to see the skyline and night lights shining so bright.

One of my favorite memories was riding on the rickshaws through the old neighborhoods of China and visiting a local family who graciously opened their doors to welcome us into their home. My feet touched the bricks on the Great Wall as I climbed the steep steps to the towers above. My sightseeing also included the Forbidden City, the Imperial Summer Palace, the Beijing Zoo (the Giant Pandas were lovely), the Temple of Heaven, the Olympic Stadium Bird Nest & Water Cube areas, and the Emperors' Tombs of the Ming Dynasty at Changling.

Then I flew to Xian, China (once the largest city in the world) and visited the Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall, and the Bell Tower Square. We drove to the where the Terra Cotta Warriors (which were breathtaking) were discovered, and met the farmer who found them. I visited the Huaqing Hot Springs Palace where the emperors & empresses took their baths thousands of years ago. Then it was on to to Shanghai, one of the largest cities in Asia, home to 14 million people. Sightseeing included the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden and the Old Town of Shanghai. And what would a trip be without shopping at the silk carpet and cashmere factory?

We had a fabulous time and it all came together without a hitch. It was a relief to have everything go so smoothly especially since we were in foreign countries and did not speak the language. We traveled with our travel companions that we met on the cruise you had planned for us 2 years before.

Just returned from a wonderful vacation, we would never have been able to plan without our wonderful travel agent, Karie Whitman, at the Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The accommodations, food and staff were all five star! We had such a great time we didn't want to leave.

Hey Kathy,

We had an awesome time! The hotel was beautiful and huge!! It was a joke about how long it took us to get to our room at the back of the hotel. : ) Thanks for organizing all of it for us!

We wanted to thank you so much for setting up our honeymoon for us. It was
an amazing trip and we will both remember it forever. We got lucky and saw
the Pope from about 3 feet away as he rode by in his Popemobile. Venice was
awesome too. Brittne and I have never been to a place like that before.
Here is a photo of us in the Gondola!

Thank You again!

"KB'S TRAVEL SETS THE BAR! My wife and I spent the past year planning our wedding with varying results from each of our wedding vendors. We are adamant however, that the best vendor we were put in touch with was KB's Travel! We started out by shopping AAA and Costco Travel among others, though all we seemed to do was confuse ourselves with all of the glossy brochures as of course everything looks great in the marketing pieces. It was perfect timing that we were referred to KB's travel through word of mouth (don't all the best referrals come that way)?

Kathy was so gracious at our first meeting, spending about 2-hours with our indecisive souls, on a Sunday none-the-less. One of the biggest differences with KB's travel was that Kathy had not only seen and acquainted herself with all of those "fancy glossy brochures," she had actually been to nearly every resort we were considering first hand.

Prior to leaving for our honeymoon, we felt that our connection with KB's Travel was a slam dunk, though the real value came after that. When we first booked our trip we viewed Travel Insurance as an unnecessary expense. We decided through Kathy's guidance that it would be a good idea just in case their was a hurricane, etc. However, my wife and I found ourselves in an ambulance on the last day of our honeymoon after a body surfing accident broke my leg in multiple places. Not only did this happen in a foreign country, though we were required to pay up front for services, organize special flights and have a major surgery landing me in the hospital for nearly a week. Through this whole process KB's Travel was fighting on our behalf and was the best advocate we could ask for. It has now been 3-months since our honeymoon and KB's Travel is still servicing my wife and I through this Travel Insurance Claim. We aren't only going to recuperate nearly every dime of medical bills we incurred, though we now have a Travel Agent for life. I bet you Costco wouldn't do that!"

We had a great time at Sandals Antigua! It was everything we had hoped for and then some. We did just about everything you could in 7 days. Lots of tours, trips, shopping, and watersports. Stacey took lots of great pics. The Butler service turned out great. We were a little skeptical at first but they proved to be a great asset. They saved us lots of time and helped us arrange cab rides, dinner reservations, snacks, booking tours and giving recommendations. Plus we had a lot in common so it made for good conversation. We can't wait to book another vacation. The only thing we'd do different would be to fly first class. We didn't get much sleep on the flights. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful time in Maui and at the Hyatt! Just beautiful. If a vacation could be considered perfect then this vacation was perfect in all respects.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary with a 90 Minute Helicopter Ride around all of Maui. Was a first for both of us and we did just fine. We saw one breathtaking view after another. The pilot was really fun and informative. He landed the helicopter on top of a mountain overlooking a cattle ranch and broke out a bottle of champagne. Everyone toasted to our 40th Anniversary. It was very special indeed. What an adventure!

Actually we could have just stayed at the Hyatt and not gone anywhere and we would have enjoyed ourselves. What a beautiful, wonderful hotel. Oh my gosh! Our room was very nice, and what a view!

The buffet breakfast each morning was beyond words. We had so much fun trying out all of the different foods offered each day. Everyone who works at the Hyatt is so nice, and they are all about making people happy. We loved all of the different birds and the penguins too. One bird just kept saying "Aloha" over and over again. The pool and outdoor restaurant was so nice. We did go swimming in the pool. The outdoor restaurant has the most fantastic food. Again, Oh my gosh. In the evenings they would have some sort of musical entertainment by the outdoor restaurant.

We want to thank you, Kathy for finding such a lovely place for us to spend our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

We will be calling you when we decide to go on another trip sometime in the future. Until then, thanks so much!

Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Rose's Visit to Sandals, Ocho Rios-Jamaica

From the moment we stepped off the plane, Sandals workers were at our assistance to ensure our stay was organized - we knew where to go and we were comfortable! Drinks and snacks were served before we even got our bags onto the bus to Ocho Rios.

Once settled into the resort, we entered our Garden View room and saw nothing but tropical vegetation. Although we didn't have a balcony, or an ocean front room, you didn't feel a loss. Walk less than 2 minutes down one flight of stairs and you were at the ocean. The Riviera side of Ocho Rios was most accomodating to us ocean lovers. If Danny and I weren't at the pool, restaurant, or doing some on-site resort activity, we were at the beach enjoying the view!

Although we took part in one off-resort excursion, there is almost no need to. From morning until night, there are resort activities and lots of outdoor activitites to participate in. You can windsail with an instructor, or go out on your own.

Danny and I took part in kayaking, the water tricycle (yes, an over-sized tricycle you pedal on in the ocean), snorkeling, and a glass bottom boat ride over the coral reef in Jamaica where you could see the ocean-life and an awesome view of the resort. For our off-resort escapade, we boarded the Katamaran to enjoy a peaceful ride out to Dunn's River Falls. Dunn's River Falls climb 160 feet and are literally a set of rock falls from the river…despite the initial intimidation of the falls, we had a great time and met all kinds of people, couples, and newleyweds. On the way back from the falls, we went snorkeling, had drinks on the boat, and learned lots of new Jamaican dances. It was a blast!

All-inclusive resorts, particularly Sandals, are the way to go!! We never had to show our ID, have a Debit/Credit Card available, and at Ocho Rios we had the pleasure of choosing from 8 restaurants! One of our favorites was the Tex-Mex restaurant, The Arizona, located on the pier of our Riviera side. The chili is amazing and the view is absolutely breathtaking!

All throughout Sandals Ocho Rios, the staff are very helpful, friendly, and willing to entertain you! Dalmar was one employee with whom we became fond of as he seemed to always find us for pictures! Yes, Sandals has a set of photographers that will catch you in the pool, doing sports, and dining and take wonderful pictures of you! Dalmar took pictures at our free sunset photo session.
He even joined in our own wedding Thank You Card picture on our last night in Jamaica. The Playmakers (Sandals entertainment workers) are everywhere and can turn your lazy day at the pool into a party with the other couples in a manner of seconds! We loved how the resort could provide any experience you desire - relaxing, fun, exciting, and cultural all in one location.

After our week at this Sandals location, we are positive that on our next vacation we will be going to another Sandals resort! Thanks Karie!

"Our experience with Kelly and KB's Travel was perfect. Kelly met with us early in the process and helped us choose a honeymoon that could not have been more perfect. She took the time to learn what we wanted and offered suggestions from her travel knowledge to suit our tastes. We spent 10 glorious days in St. Lucia and we had an amazing time. Kelly planned everything, even helped with an unexpected last minute flight change and overnight hotel reservations! We are already planning another trip for next year and will definitely use Kelly again!"

Thank you,
